CQY inserts are intermateable with corresponding CQ crimp models when uncoded, allowing engineers to incorporate tool-less termination into existing ILME installations without replacing enclosures or connector housings.

Traditional crimp termination introduces process dependencies — tools, calibration, and operator training — that add time and error risk to panel assembly. AXYR® technology addresses this directly: one spring contact size covers the full supported wire cross-section range, connections are rewirable, and the spring clamp mechanism resists mechanical stress and vibration. Inserts are made of self-extinguishing thermoplastic rated UL 94 V-0, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
