TestMu AI, formerly LambdaTest and the world's first full stack Agentic Quality Engineering platform, today announced Kane CLI, a browser automation tool that runs directly from the terminal. Kane CLI is designed simultaneously for human developers and AI coding agents, bridging the gap between code generation and verified browser execution. AI agents ship code faster than QA teams can manually test, but no agent could verify its own work. Kane CLI closes this loop.
Teams can describe a flow and receive a pass or fail result with a full step trace and screenshot before the pull request is submitted. Designers and product managers can verify fixes without filing tickets, then share evidence links directly to Slack or Jira. AI agents like Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, and Gemini CLI build features, and Kane CLI tells them whether those features actually work in a local Chrome browser.
Key capabilities include intent based browser control without selectors, resilient runs up to 50 steps, Playwright export, automated bug discovery, vision based dynamic waiting, OTP and CAPTCHA handling with human in the loop, two way script migration between Kane CLI and Playwright or Selenium, inbuilt Test Manager sync, CI/CD readiness, and contextual authoring across multiple browser sessions from a single prompt. Kane CLI runs in three modes: Interactive TUI, Headless CLI, and Agent Mode with structured NDJSON output for AI agents.
