CEng Shreekant Patil, a recognised Startup Mentor and Industry Consultant under multiple Government of India initiatives, has been reappointed as Chairman (Head) of the Skill & Startup Committee at the Nashik Industries Manufacturers’ Association (NIMA) for the 2026–2027 term. The announcement was made by NIMA President Mr. Ashish Nahar, citing Patil’s ongoing contributions to the local startup and MSME landscape.

Patil has led the committee since 2023, focusing on bridging industry, academia, and aspiring entrepreneurs. His efforts have helped build a scalable startup culture in Nashik across manufacturing, agri-innovation, renewable energy, and digital services.

Key achievements under his leadership include:

• Prototype & Product Support – Guided student and early-stage ventures in developing MVPs and working prototypes.

• Funding & Government Schemes – Helped founders access schemes like Startup India Seed Fund, MAARG, BHASKAR, STPI, WEP, MeitY Startup Hub, PMEGP, and MSME credit guarantees.

• Awareness & Training – Organised workshops on startup registration, IP, digital marketing, LEAN, ZED, and LEAN-MSME certification.

• Incubation Linkages – Connected Nashik startups to IITs, EDII, NSDC, STPI, and TBI networks for structured mentorship.

• Mentorship – As an official mentor on platforms like Startup India, BIRAC, IIT Bombay/Madras, and NISIC, he has refined pitch decks, financial models, and market strategies.

Vision for 2026–27:
Patil aims to onboard more youth-led ventures into structured incubation, deepen industry-startup collaboration for co-development, and expand Nashik’s presence in national and BRICS-linked innovation networks.

The reappointment underscores NIMA’s commitment to fostering Viksit Bharat-aligned entrepreneurship and positioning Nashik as a regional hub for innovation and startup-led growth.
