The project, implemented under Poland’s Bridge Alfa program with co-financing from the European Union, focuses on creating and deploying The Kidly platform in educational institutions. Its aim is to combine physical activity monitoring with advanced AI-driven image recognition to help identify musculoskeletal disorders and posture-related issues in children.
Thanks to the integration of state-of-the-art image recognition technologies and a high-quality database system for secure data processing, The Kidly enables automatic, accurate detection of posture defects. This solution provides essential support to teachers, coaches, and educators—professionals who may not have specialized knowledge in physiotherapy—by giving them access to actionable insights that promote healthier physical development among children.
The Kidly Project
AI-supported detection of posture defects and musculoskeletal issues in children
Increased accessibility of advanced diagnostic tools in schools and sports facilities
Effective support for teachers, trainers, and educators in fostering children’s physical activity
Safer, healthier conditions for children’s development through early identification of risks
The total project value amounts to approximately EUR 234,500, of which EUR 187,600 is co-financed by European Funds under the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014–2020.
