A new highlight of the campaign this year is the National Art & Colouring Contest, inviting people of all ages and cultural backgrounds across Canada to draw and colour lanterns, a traditional symbol of hope and warmth in many Asian cultures. Selected entries and winners will be featured at the upcoming Community Celebration: “A Mid-Autumn Night’s Dream” on September 27, 2025, in Downtown Markham.

Contest prizes are generously supported by Pandora and Ferris Wheel Press. The deadline for submissions is September 20, 2025. Contest materials and entry details are available at www.fetechinoise.ca/love-at-midautumn-2025-art-contest.
